Public Events
These policies apply to public events such as Sunday Sketch Club and the Monthly Ladies Art Group.
Refunds & Cancellations Policy
I understand that life happens! If you can no longer attend an event, please get in touch as soon as possible.

Refunds are available if you provide 3 or more business days' notice before the event.

If you cancel with 2 business days' notice, you’ll receive a class credit to use towards a future event.

No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made with less than 2 business days’ notice, or for no-shows.
If, for any reason, I need to cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another date or class.

Thank you for your understanding and support – planning these events takes time and care, and your courtesy helps keep them running smoothly for everyone.
Course Policies
These policies apply to multi-week courses such as Oil Painting for Beginners and Portrait Painting for Beginners.
Refunds & Cancellations Policy

​If you attend the first class and decide the course isn’t for you, you can request a 75% refund, not including any materials or kits (like an oil painting kit) that have been provided.
​
After the first week, refunds are no longer available unless there are exceptional circumstances. Any refunds after this time will be at the studio’s discretion.
​
The cost of any art materials, supplies or kits that have been handed out can’t be refunded — they’re yours to keep!
​
If you can’t make one or more of the classes during the term, that’s totally okay — but unfortunately I can’t offer partial refunds or makeup classes, as places are limited and courses are designed to be taken as a block.
Private Class Policies

Pay as You Go (One Off Classes)​​

Private lessons are tailored just for you — so if something comes up and you can’t make it, please let me know as soon as possible.

Rescheduling: If you provide at least 48 hours’ notice, I’m happy to reschedule your session at no cost.

Late cancellations: If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. This helps cover preparation time and the missed opportunity to offer the spot to someone else.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows: The full class fee will apply.​

Illness/emergencies: I understand that unexpected things happen. At my discretion, I offer one goodwill late reschedule per student each term if you’re unwell or have a genuine emergency.

If I cancel: In the rare event I need to cancel, you’ll be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule at a time that suits you.

Term Classes​

When you enrol in a term of classes, your place is reserved for the full term. If you’re unable to attend one of your scheduled sessions:

Rescheduling: With at least 48 hours’ notice, I’ll do my best to find a make-up session — but this depends on available spaces and can’t be guaranteed.

Late cancellations (less than 48 hours): Unfortunately, I’m not able to offer a refund, credit, or reschedule for that class, as your place has already been prepared for.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows: The session is forfeited.
Please note that make-up classes are not guaranteed and depend on available time slots and studio capacity — but I’ll always do my best to accommodate where possible. Thanks so much for your understanding and support — it helps keep classes running smoothly for everyone!
Private Event Policies
The following policies apply to private event packages (e.g. Paint n Sip events etc).
Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Deposits & Payments

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking which must be paid at least one week prior to the event date.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to the day of the event (as arranged).

Deposits are non-transferable to other individuals unless agreed in advance.

Cancellations & Refunds​

Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the event start time are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

If individual guests cancel with at least 72 hours notice, the portion of the deposit attributable to their ticket will be refunded.

If cancellations are made with 72 hours or less notice, any deposit or event fee paid will be non-refundable.

Guests who do not attend without prior notice are not eligible for refunds.

Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule will be accommodated where possible, subject to studio availability.

Rescheduling within 72 hours of the event may incur additional costs.

Exceptional Circumstances
In the case of an emergency or illness, please contact me — accommodations or rescheduling may be offered at the studio’s discretion.
