Monthly Ladies Art Group: Watercolour Florals

This month we are painting all things floral and nature with watercolours! Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking to give watercolours a go, this class is for you!

• Wet on wet watercolour techniques
• Painting flowers from life
• Loose floral patterns and surface pattern design
• Brushwork and colour mixing

About the Monthly Ladies Art Group

When I first moved to Melbourne I found it really difficult to connect and make friends who were also interested in art and creative hobbies. We all lead busy lives and especially as we get older it becomes harder to make time for doing something creative let alone for meeting new friends! 

That's why I've launched the Monthly Ladies Art Group! It's all about coming together every month to meet fellow creative women, have a cup of tea and just do something fun for your inner artist. Going rogue is encouraged and I hope that at the end of the class everyone will end up with a completely different piece using the skills/techniques we learn as a group!

Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking to try out some new mediums, this class is a safe space for everyone to come, experiment and play with some fun art supplies. Each month we will be trying  a new art technique or art supply to help you find the medium you love.

Is there public transport access?

Yes. The Studio is just outside the number 75 tram stop opposite Camberwell Town Hall.

Is the Studio accessible?

Yes. Please let us know if you have any mobility requirements at registration so we can assure you are made comfortable.

Do I need any art experience?

Absolutely not!
