About the event
If you’ve always wanted to try oils or you’d just like to practice portraiture, this class is for you! Oil Painting for Beginners is a crash course in oil painting and portraiture, open to all skill levels, whether you’ve never painted before or you’re proficient in another medium and just looking to give oils a go.
In this course you will learn through painting and at the end, you will have a piece to take home. You will be guide you through the fundamentals of oil painting including getting to know your medium, basic colour theory, colour mixing, composition and brushwork.
