We always had a couple of clusters of Easter lilies around our property and I remember being little and as soon as it got a little colder, running to all the spots to check if they had bloomed. Even though I'm bigger now and live somewhere completely different, whenever I see the Easter Lilies I think of home ❤️ This piece is a love letter to home and those days.
 
❤️A little about the piece❤️
This piece is based on a photo I took at Abbotsford Convent of some beautiful lilies blooming in a planted garden. The sunlight was shining through the petals and almost making the heart of the flower glow. I worked on this piece on and off since February and I'm so excited to share it with you.
