Not all sketchbooks are created equal — and these ones are pretty special.
 
These A5 sketchbooks are beautifully hand bound by Lou from Bound to Love Them and designed to open flat, which makes sketching and painting so much easier!
 
Each one is covered in a cotton/linen blend fabric printed with an original artwork, so the outside is just as creative as what you’ll eventually fill the pages with.
 
Inside are 32 pages of artist-quality 300gsm paper, available in two options depending on how you like to work:
• 300gsm Cold Press Watercolour Paper by Fabriano – with a gentle texture that’s lovely for watercolour and painterly marks.
• 300gsm Mixed Media Paper by Fabriano – a versatile surface that works well for drawing, ink, and light washes.
 
These sketchbooks are designed by me, printed here in Australia, and hand bound by Lou, which means they support a couple of small Australian creative businesses along the way (how cool is that?!)
 
Sketchbooks are something I use all the time in my own practice and often encourage in my classes as a place to experiment, try ideas, and just enjoy the process of making. Whether you’re bringing one along to a class, keeping it in your bag for sketches on the go, or gifting it to another creative person, I hope it becomes a little space for your ideas to grow!
